Make a donation to Beit Am

  • Click the Donate button to give through PayPal. After choosing your payment method, you’ll see a box where you can add an optional message.
  • To give to a specialized fund, use the “Use this donation for…” drop-down menu. Descriptions of all specialized funds are on this page (in the right sidebar on desktop, or below on mobile). Click here for instructions on donating to a Specialized Fund
  • Unless you select a specialized fund, your gift will support the Beit Am General Fund.
  • To donate by check: mail it to Beit Am (address in footer), or bring it during office hours (call 541-753-0067 for times), or slip it under the office door if you are in the building while the office is closed.

Specialized Funds

Capital Replacement Fund (CRF)
to replace or repair building components and related property as they wear out, following our CRF Policy.
 
Building Fund
to acquire new Beit Am property components and support non-routine repairs or maintenance of existing components, when not covered by the CRF
Art Recommendation Committee Fund (ARC)
to support the exhibition and preservation of Beit Am’s permanent art collection and temporary special exhibits (may support general fund if unused). ARC charter
Arts and Culture Fund
for events that highlight Jewish themes from such creative fields as music, literature, theater, visual arts, and so forth. Arts and Culture Fund charter
Beit Midrash Fund
The Beit Midrash Fund supports the educational mission of our religious school. The Fund may be used to support both Jewish Studies and Hebrew in Beit Midrash, including tuition waivers, classroom supplies, furnishings, curriculum materials, teacher training, honoraria for guest educators, and field trips that are directly tied to the educational program. The fund is not intended to cover staff salaries, nor is it to be used for purposes unrelated to the core educational program, such as teacher gifts, snacks, or celebratory events.
Chevra Kaddisha Fund
to support burial-related needs, including cemetery maintenance, burial plots for those with financial needs, and ritual supplies for end-of-life practices
Goldberg-Loney Jewish Youth Awards Memorial Fund
provides scholarships to children of Beit Am or local Hadassah members to enable them to attend Jewish summer camps or year-long programs in Israel. Goldberg-Loney Committee charter
Jewish Emergency Assistance Fund
to provide temporary assistance to individuals or families during crises or emergency situations when other resources are not immediately available. JEAF charter
Library Fund
to purchase or repair library materials, storage, and supplies. Library Committee charter
Oregon State Correctional Institute (OSCI) Fund
to support Jewish religious activities for inmates
Rabbi Discretionary Fund
to be administered by the Rabbi to meet community, spiritual, and charitable needs at his sole discretion
Siddur Fund
to purchase or repair Siddurim and Chumashim as needed
Torah Fund
to maintain, repair, or purchase Beit Am's Torah(s), including adornments, coverings, and ritual accessories
Yahrtzeit Board Fund
for creation and upkeep of yahrzeit board
