High Holy Days Preparation Discussions on-site and over Zoom

This year the Adult Education and Religious Affairs Committees are joining together to provide an opportunity to learn about the Jewish journey in preparing for our High Holy Days. We are offering a three part study of Rabbi Alan Lew’s book “This is Real, and You Are Completely Unprepared” to familiarize ourselves about the wisdom/power in our rituals, and guide us to take a deep dive into our September Holy Days/Holidays. Together we will discuss sections of the book that address each holiday chronologically, mapping the terrain we are about to journey into, through sacred time from Tisha b'Av to Sukkot. We hope you will join us for one, two, or all of these learning opportunities.
