Mid-Willamette Valley Jewish Community
In 2013, Beit Am joined the Song of Miriam Awards, sponsored by the Jewish Women’s Roundtable of Portland, Oregon, to honor women volunteers of Beit Am. This year, the past awardees selected Rachel Peck for the 2024 Song of Miriam Award. Rachel has been and continues to be a consummate example of a Beit Am volunteer, never hesitating to offer her time and energy when a call goes out, and often readily stepping forward unasked when she sees a need!
Please mark your calendars for Sunday, June 9th, at 10:00 am at the Mittleman Jewish Community Center, 6651 SW Capitol Hwy., Portland, for a brunch that will celebrate all of this year’s Song of Miriam awardees, including our Rachel.
