Rosh Hashanah Day 1 Services over Zoom

Morning services (pesukei d'zimra and shacharit), 9:00 am

Torah service and musaf, 10:30 am

Youth activities: Tune in to hear a Rosh Hashanah story, have a discussion, and do a few fun activities! All of the stories explore how we can still celebrate Rosh Hashanah, even when this year is a little different than usual.

10am: The World’s Birthday Make a party to celebrate the world’s birthday from your own home!       Ages 4-8

10:30am: The Secret Shofar of Barcelona Hear how “secret Jews” in the 1500’s found a creative way to celebrate Rosh Hashanah even when it was forbidden.  Ages 6-10

11am: The Samovar Explore the concept of tzedakah in this folktale. How can we be like Rivka and Haskel as we head into our new year? Ages 8-12

In order to improve our online safety and security, the only way to join our Zoom services and study sessions will be by clicking on the invitation link provided to members in the What's Up.  There is an encrypted password within each link that ensures only invitees are able to join with video and chat functionality.  Please feel free to invite your friends and family using these links! Audio-only participation is still possible by calling (669)900-9128 and entering the Meeting ID number.
