Awesome Ideas in Judaism Class over Zoom

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

Time frame: 10 1-hour sessions

Description: In this course we'll explore some of the big ideas that form the foundation of Jewish life, practice, and spirituality. Through understanding these essential, but seldom explicitly articulated concepts, seekers at any stage of their journey through Judaism will be better able to engage with Jewish texts and traditions and will find more value in them. Our guide will be Rabbi Arthur Green's book Judaism's 10 Best Ideas, a short and easily accessible work that learners are strongly encouraged to pick up and read for themselves. Each of its ten chapters will serve as the jumping off point for learning and discussion of the sources Rabbi Green cites and how we can discover these Jewish ideas in our lives.
