Adult Education - Exploring Theology & Practice

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

In these two sessions (along with a third on the Eve of Shavuot) we will discuss Rabbi Arthur Green’s book, Seek my Face (originally titled Seek My Face, Speak My Name). An articulation of Rabbi Green’s personal theology, this book is rich with exploration and grapples with Jewish tradition in honest and imaginative ways. Through our close reading of the text and reflection upon the images it offers and questions it probes, we will support each other in refining our own understanding of Jewish religious language and practice.

Please RSVP to Rabbi Benjamin if you are interested in participating, and either acquire a copy of Seek My Face (easy to locate on line) or request a scan of the reading. For the first meeting, read the Introduction and first section (“God and the Ways of Being”)
