Beit Am Financial Sustainability

WE DID IT!!

As of Jan. 15th, 132 member families have pledged $119,657 in dues and other donations, plus another $2012 for our religious school. Our pledges have now surpassed this year's financial goal of $117,236. Way to go Beit Am!! Thanks to all of you who have given generously during what has been a difficult economic year. So far, we’ve already received payments on almost 80% of these pledges. Please help us meet our sustainability goal by remitting your pledge payments. And if you haven’t yet pledged, please do your part in supporting our community by returning your pledge today: Pledge forms are available here.
May 2009, the Beit Am Board took a major step towards establishing a sustainable community when it adopted recommendations of the Financial Sustainability Committee (FSC). The FSC met with over one hundred Beit Am members in small community gatherings to address the financial sustainability of Beit Am. The Beit Am community is committed to realize our goal of balancing the budget and sustaining Beit Am. This page provides status information regarding the effort to bring Beit Am to a longer term state of financial stability while maintaining or improving the service provided to the Beit Am community.

The thermometer, on the right, reflects our goal for dues and membership revenue for this year. We will be updating the thermometer monthly to reflect the current dues pledged.

The following documents are the result of the early 2009 work by the Financial Sustainability Committee, and have been adopted by the Beit Am Board.
